Margherita, Thank you so much for making our Birthday stay so special. Your farm and products are top-notch and our stay was truly magical. I have never tasted anything as wonderful as your fresh eggs and tomatoes. I will make sure to tell all my friends and hope to come back to visit soon. Also, thank you for putting up with my horrible Italian. Grazie per aver reso il nostro soggiorno così speciale.

Thank you very much for a pleasant stay. We have enjoyed our week stay with Le Capanne. The boys enjoyed the swimming pool and we had a week of culture, coutryside and italian hospitality and food. We hope to see you soon again and perhaps we can help on the farm....the boys loved helping Vincenzo and would like to come back too.

Pobyt w Toskanii będziemy wspominać najcieplej ze wszystkich naszych wakacji. Agroturystyka położona w cudownym miejscu - daleko ludzi, ale dostatecznie blisko większego miasteczka Castiglion Fiorentino. Właściciele, choć nie za bardzo mówiący po angielsku, niezwykle komunikatywni i serdeczni, a gdy bariera językowa stawała się nie do przeskoczenia, co zdarzało się bardzo rzadko, na pomoc przychodziła telefonicznie córka Margarity (właścicielki, przeuroczej pani), mówiąca biegle po angielsku :) Na gości czekają z otwartymi ramionami, na stole w apartamencie - oliwa (własnej produkcji, pyszna!), jajka z fermy gospodarzy, ciasto pieczone przez mamę Margarity i wino, również produkcji własnej. I już wypoczynek miło się zaczyna!
Kolejne dni - nic, tylko lepiej. Jako że cały kompleks to zaledwie cztery apartamenty, goście nie wchodzą sobie na głowę, a basen jest dostatecznie duży, że mieści wszystkich.
Otoczenie - zdjęcia nawet w połowie nie oddają uroku tego miejsca. Polecam czerwiec na odwiedziny - długie, ciepłe dni, a wieczorem warto pójść na spacer po okolicy - setki świetlików świecących w mroku, widok niezapomniany!
Miejsce jest świetną bazą wypadową na wycieczki - znajduje się pośrodku Toskanii, łatwo dotrzeć w każde warte zwiedzenia miejsce. Polecamy podróże pociągiem z Castiglion Fiorentino - poszliśmy za radą gospodarzy, naprawdę warto - tanio, szybko, wysiada się w centrum miasta (my wybraliśmy się w ten sposób do Florencji).
Apartamenty takie, jak piszą przedmówcy - przestronne, dobrze wyposażone. Miejscowe specjały pod ręką, a Margarita zawsze służy również jajkami z fermy, sałatą i innymi pysznościami.
Był to przewspaniały, bezkonfliktowy pobyt w miejscu, które zachwyca mnogością zapachów, kolorów, możliwości, smaków.
Toskania przyciąga i na pewno kiedyś tam wrócimy.

Cudowne miejsce, w którym dorosły i dziecko znajdą coś dla siebie. Na początku jesteś pod wrażeniem wyjątkowego przyjęcia przez gospodarzy, od razu czujesz, że widzicie się nie pierwszy raz, jak starzy przyjaciele.
Następnie obrazu dopełniają pozostałe szczegóły. Dom położony na uboczu, pośród gaju oliwnego. Cisza i spokój. Marzenie.
Basen pełen czystej wody - tylko dla Ciebie. Cudo!!!
Apartament bardzo duży, dobrze wyposażony, nieograniczony dostęp do miejscowych specjałów - wino, oliwa itd.
Gdy kończy się Twój czas w Le Capanne, mina Ci rzednie. Nie chce się wracać do domu. Tym bardziej, że w Polsce zimno i pora do pracy...
Le Capanne to miejsce stworzone do doskonałego odpoczynku i taki on tam był. Serdecznie polecamy pobyt wszystkim niezdecydowanym.

Zum 2. Mal und sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal!
Wir waren dieses Jahr zum 2. Mal auf Le Capanne nachdem wir letztes Jahr im Mai einen Traumurlaub dort verbringen durften.
Es ist einfach ein herrliches Anwesen, sehr ruhig, super zum entspannen und die Vermieter sind so diskret und herzlich zugleich, dass man sie einfach in's Herz schließen muss.
Das Anwesen ist in einem Top-Zustand, manches Hotel könnte sich davon eine Scheibe abschneiden. Die Vermieter kümmern sich nicht nur um jedes Details, sondern verwöhnen ihre Gäste auch mit frischen Eiern, Wildschweinsalami, selbst produziertem Wein und Olivenöl. Ach ja, das Olivenöl: das ist so toll, dass man eigentlich einen Import nach Deutschland organisieren müsste!
Jedem, der die Toskana nur aus dem Bilderbuch kennt ist zu empfehlen, nach Le Capanne zu gehen, denn dort erlebt man dieses Gefühl "zur Ruhe zu kommen" und gleichzeitig die Vorzüge der herrlichen toskanischen Küche, Land und Leute zu erleben.

"Liebes Vivere la Maremma Team,
ich möchte Ihnen auf diesem Weg ein kurzes Feedback zu unserem Urlaub (29.8. - 5.9.09) im Agriturismo bei Castiglion Fiorentino geben.
Wir verbrachten einen absoluten Traumurlaub, das Haus war groß, sauber, mit allem eingerichtet und ausgestattet, was man braucht (zusätzlich mit einem Korb mit frischem Obst und Gemüse aus eigenem Anbau, selbst gebackener Kuchen aus eigenem Mehl und Olivenöl, Bügeleisen und -Brett, Waschmaschine, Toaster, Wäscheständer etc.).
Die Vermieter sind sehr, sehr nett, entgegenkommend, hilfbereit (wir kamen staubedingt erst gegen abends um 22 Uhr an, Margarita holte uns trotzdem noch vom Bahnhof ab und führte uns zum Haus).
Wir bekamen sehr viele, detailierte Pläne für Ausflüge, Stadtkarten etc. Sie vermittelte uns auch einen sehr lieben Reitlehrer, der mit unserer Tochter durch die Olivenhaine ritt (ein ganz besonderes Urlaubserlebnis!).
Schön war auch, dass der junge Mann, der zum Blumengießen kam, uns und den anderen Bewohnern des Hauses noch einmal einen Korb mit Tomaten, Eiern und Obst vor die Tür stellte.
Als wir die Fattoria besichtigten (wir wollten nur kurz vorbei schauen), dauerte dies 3 Stunden! Margarita und ihr Mann erzählten uns von Haus und Hof, man konnte ihre Liebe für das Land und die Tiere deutlich erkennen. Es machte viel Spaß, mit ihnen die Hühner zu begutachten, die die wunderbar gelben Eier lieferten, verschiedene Traubensorten vom Rebstock weg zu probieren, Feigen vom Baum zu kosten, die Hunde und Katzen zu streicheln und natürlich den Wein mit selbst gebackenem Kuchen zu versuchen.
Die Lage des Hauses ist absolut ruhig (man hört nur vereinzelt Hunde und Grillen), der Pool groß und sauber, Liegen und Sonnenschirme ausreichend und picobello.

My parents and I stayed at Le Capanne for a short time in October 2009 and were showered with hospitality. The three of us loved the serene landscape, the fresh air, and the beautiful apartment of Il Bosce. I really hope to return during spring or summer for a more extended stay with my kids when I have my own family. I'd love for them to experience a simple way of living and appreciate what Le Capenne is doing in the world of agrotourism. It is inspiring! Thank you for the great experience, Margherita!

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Le Capanne, in La Castegneto apartment, (August 8th-15th 2009) Everything about it works really well for a relaxed family holiday. The apartment was spotless on arrival and Margherita did a great job in welcoming us. Margherita and Vincenzo were fantastic through the whole week, bringing fresh vegetables and eggs from their garden, and also giving us a tour around their farm..which the kids loved!..and the adults enjoyed the wine and grappa!
The pool is realy good with a very shallow end and then a diving board at the opposite side..also has great views down the valley.
We are already working on next year's visit :-)
I would definitely recommend this for your Tuscan holiday.

Leider etwas spät, aber überzeugt. Wir waren Ende Mai dort und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig geschnitten, der Außenbereich mit Pool gepflegt und schön angelegt. Unseren Kindern hat der Urlaub dort großen Spaß gemacht. Besonders, da Margherita und Vincenzo sehr liebe Vermieter sind, die man immer ansprechen kann, wenn man etwas wissen möchte.
Das Val di Chio ist eine ruhige Ecke, nicht so viel Turismus wie sonst in der Toskana. Aber gerade deshalb sehr schön und erholsam. Viel kleine und weniger bekannte Orte in der näheren Umgebung können besucht werden.
Ein schöner Urlaub,

I spent a week in the apartment L'Oliveto from the 13th to 20th of June 2009 and had an incredible week.
The weather was superb and the pool a welcome sight after returning from a day of exploring local towns and villages. Warm enough even for a few laps in the evening.
Kitchen was well equipped with everything one could need (apart from a large Cooks Knife). Margherita and Vincenzo were also generous enough to share with you produce from their garden including eggs and fresh vegetables, oh and all the cherries you can eat when they are in season.
The access to wood fueled BBQ's is also a great feature allowing you to cook some of the excellent meat from local butchers slowly over the hot coals. Washed down with a glass of local red wine it was a great way to spend an evening watching the sunset while you pondered the next days activities.
Oh and don't miss out on sampling the food from La Foce Antica Trattoria which is around 10km from Localita Col di Bidone.
I can't wait for my next opportunity to return!

We spent a great time at Le Capanne. The view from the house was marvellous and the house and surroundings were really what you can see at these pages. The owners of the place were extremely friendly. And kids loved the pool. We can really recommend the place. Thank you!
